CONSTRUCTION ALERT UPDATE – Revelle College Apartments

Project Description/Location:

Construction of the Revelle College Apartments began on September 1, 2009. The approximately 158,000 square foot project consists of three buildings, between 5 and 10 stories tall. It is located on what was the open lawn area, basketball courts, and part of Parking Lot P104, just west of Fleet Housing and just south of the Housing & Dining Services Administration Building. The site work includes utility extensions along Scholars Drive South, landscaping and modifications to Parking Lots P103 and P104. This Construction Alert supplements the initial Construction Alert issued August 12, 2009.

Immediate Street Impacts for Demolition and Construction Work:

Commencing on June 23, 2010 through June 29, 2010, the westerly portion of Parking Lots P103 and P104 will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic; then intermittent impacts may occur until July of 2011. During these times, flagmen will be present to direct traffic. Detour signs for vehicles and pedestrian traffic will also be posted. Construction work on the Revelle College Apartments will continue until July 2011 as previously noticed.
