SUBJECT:	CONSTRUCTION ALERT - Scholars Drive South, Osler Lane, and
	Gilman Drive Superloop Transit Project

Project Location/Impact

The electric service for Superloop Transit Project is under construction. As part of this project the contractor will be installing underground electric service on portions of Scholars Drive South, Gilman Drive, and Osler Lane during the dates of July 26 and August 13, 2010. The new electric service will provide power for the new Superloop traffic signals to be provided by SANDAG.

Immediate Street Impacts

Between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM, traffic on portions of Scholars Drive South, Osler Lane, and Gilman Drive may be reduced to one lane during construction. Emergency vehicle access will be available and flagmen will be directing traffic as needed. Sidewalks on north side of Scholars Drive and Osler Lane, and on the east and west side of Gilman Drive near the intersection, will be closed as needed during the construction work under the sidewalk. Detour signs for vehicles and pedestrian traffic will also be posted.
