SUBJECT:    CONSTRUCTION ALERT - Superloop Transit Project at CMM (East)/Gilman Drive Tree Removal

Project Location/Impact

As part of the electric service installation for the Superloop Transit Project, it will be necessary for the contractor to remove three damaged trees on the north side of Center for Molecular Medicine (CMM-East) building. This work will occur on August 21 and 22, 2010 between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM.

Immediate Street Impacts

Between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM traffic on portions of Gilman Drive may be reduced to one lane due to this activity. Emergency vehicle access will be available and flagmen will be directing traffic as needed. Sidewalks on the north side of Gilman Drive near the building will be closed as needed during this work. Detour signs for vehicles and pedestrian traffic will also be posted.
