SUBJECT: Chancellor's Challenge 5K Run/Walk

Dear Colleagues:

I would like to encourage you to participate in this year's Chancellor's Challenge 5K Run/Walk.

This year's date - October 22 - should bring us blue skies and lots of sunshine for the 15th annual race. For information and to register, please go to 5k.ucsd.edu

If you are not inclined to run or walk the 5K, but would like to be a part of this wonderful event, volunteers are always needed. Please send an email to pvansise@ucsd.edu to sign up as a volunteer or to learn more about the volunteer opportunities available for the 5K.

Your participation is a great example of your ongoing commitment to UC San Diego and our outstanding student scholarship recipients.

I look forward to seeing you on October 22, when I will be running myself. This should be an added incentive because at least you know you won't be the last Senate member to cross the finish line!
