ALL STUDENTS AT UCSD

SUBJECT:   Flu Vaccine Clinics

FLU SEASON IS COMING! Flu vaccination is your best protection, and is now recommended for everyone.

The Center for Disease Control recommends a yearly flu vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting against this potentially serious disease. While there are many different flu viruses, the flu vaccine protects against the three main flu strains that research indicates will cause the most illness this year. In addition, you can take everyday preventive steps like staying away from sick people and washing your hands to reduce the spread of germs. If you are sick with flu, stay home from work and school to prevent spreading influenza to others.

Student Health Services provides both the injection and nasal flu vaccines for all students- FREE if you have SHIP. If you waived SHIP - the injectable vaccine is $15; nasal vaccine is $25. All charges will go directly to your student account.

Flu vaccine clinics will be held at Student Health Services:

Wed. Oct 12th 8:30-4
Tues. Oct 18th 9:30-4
Mon. Oct 24th 8:30-4
Fri. Oct 28th 8:30-4

Go directly to the upstairs conference room (Murray's Place).
