SUBJECT:    CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Hopkins Drive –STARTING 07/25/11

Project Description/Location:

The NOAA Coastal Sage Restoration landscaping construction project is nearing completion. Construction along North Hopkins Drive, at the northeast corner of RIMAC field, will occur from July 25, 2011 through July 29, 2011. Utility work in the center of the road is planned in order to tap into a recycled water main line. During this period both lanes of traffic will be open with traffic flowing both ways, but will be diverted around the immediate work area. Flagmen will be provided and additional signage will be posted so that buses, cars and cyclists can navigate through the work areas. MTS buses and Campus shuttle services will not be impacted.

Immediate Street Impacts:

Beginning Monday, July 25, 2011 Hopkins Drive (North) at the northwest corner of RIMAC field traffic will be diverted around the construction being done at the middle of the road.
