September is Campus Preparedness Month

We are promoting September as campus preparedness month. Conditions continue to indicate a high level of wildfire risk this year and we face the ever-present danger of a major earthquake occurring in Southern California. In conjunction with Campus Preparedness Month, campus emergency planners will conduct a tabletop exercise to review emergency response and evacuation procedures.

We also encourage all members of our campus community to enroll in the campus voicemail and text emergency notification system; Triton Alert. Go to http://blink.ucsd.edu/go/emergencyphonereg to enroll. Campus leaders will use this system to notify you in the event of an emergency affecting campus.
