SUBJECT:    CONSTRUCTION ALERT - East Campus Sports Deck Lighting Installation December 3, 2012

Project Description/Location

Installation of new lighting for the La Jolla Campus Sports Deck atop the parking structure is scheduled to occur on Monday, December 3, 2012 beginning at 6:00 am to 12:00 noon. A crane will be positioned in the roadway and one lane of Medical Center Drive in front of the parking structure will be closed. Flagmen will be present to monitor traffic flow and ensure patient, staff and visitors' safety and access to Thornton Hospital.

Immediate Street Impacts

Monday, December 3, 2012 a single lane on Medical Center Drive, at the north end adjacent to the parking structure, will be closed and traffic will be diverted around the work area. Flagmen will be present during this work and pedestrians should use the south side of Medical Center Drive when walking through the campus, and the cross walks highlighted in blue on the attached link.
