Triton Day - Saturday, April 7, 2012 - All Campus

GET INVOLVED WITH TRITON DAY, APRIL 7! UC San Diego's former Admit Day and Open House come together as Triton Day on Saturday, April 7, from 7:00 am-2:30 pm. This special event gives us a unique opportunity to showcase the UC San Diego campus to newly admitted students and their families, as well as the San Diego community - middle and high school students and our own faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Program elements will include special sessions for admitted students, Student Services Information Fair, Health Fair, Meet the Minds Academic Fair with faculty and graduate students, Student Organizations Expo, live entertainment, children's activities, a car show, sustainability showcase and campus tours. A special "Charting the Course" college planning information session for future Tritons will also take place. Guests are encouraged to attend the 34th Annual Marshall Cultural Celebration, occurring from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm in Thurgood Marshall College.

Triton Day is ALL about the talented students, faculty, staff, and alumni that make up the Triton community. The time has come to show this off! Whether you're a phenomenal service unit on campus supporting our Triton's greatest needs or a brilliant academic department engaging students in cutting edge learning and research, we want you!

We'll provide the basics (table, chairs, canopy, A/V, etc.) and we want you to bring interactive displays, hands-on demonstrations, and/or visuals of exceptional work/research/projects/experiments.
