April 24, 2012 Representative Assembly Meeting

Dear Colleagues: Our third meeting of the 2011-12 academic year is scheduled for Tuesday, April 24 at 3:30 p.m., in the Leichtag Building Conference Room. The Notice of Meeting (agenda) and all pertinent documents may be found on the Senate's Web page at:

The Assembly will hear an update from Vice Chancellor Brown about the limited submission review process and will hear a report from the Committee on Faculty Welfare regarding the patent agreement language and a report from the Committee on Preparatory Education about its recent review of the Basic Writing Program. The Assembly will also have the pleasure of confirming the recipients of the 2011-12 Distinguished Teaching Awards.
