Closure of Hopkins Drive & Voigt Drive: May 17-18, 2012

The annual Sun God Festival is on Friday, May 18, 2012. Due to the construction of event infrastructure Hopkins Drive will be closed from Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 PM through Saturday, May 19 at 12:00 PM. Throughout that time Hopkins Drive will be closed to all traffic between Scholars Drive North and Voigt Drive.

Please note these additional impacts to parking and transportation on campus on May 18, 2012:

-Voigt Drive will be closed to west-bound traffic between Engineers Lane and Hopkins Drive from 12:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

-Access to Hopkins Parking Structure will be available from Voigt Drive only until 12:00 PM. After 12:00 PM inbound traffic will be limited to event-related vehicles and outbound traffic from Hopkins Parking Structure is subject to delay.

-The following parking areas will be also closed from 12:00 PM - 1:00 AM: P308 (Marshall Lower Apartments), P309 (Library Loop area on Hopkins Drive).

-Spanos Loop (P359 on Northpoint Lane) will be closed from 6:00 AM on May 18 - 1:00 AM on May 19.

-The Campus Loop Shuttle will run on its normal schedule with a modified "horseshoe" loop between the Price Center and the Scholars Drive/Northpoint Drive area, which provides easy access to the North Entrance of the Festival.
