PPM 160-3 Using Electronic Communications for Official Communications
With Students has been revised effective, July 1, 2012. The link to the
new policy is:

A draft of the policy was posted May 11, 2012 and the comment period
ended June 15, 2012. General highlights of the revised policy include:
| *Identifies those with campus authority to communicate official
correspondence with students.
*Clarifies differences between mandatory (academic, policy compliance
and regulatory communications) and optional (events, opportunities,
etc.) official messages.
*Identifies student responsibilities for ensuring they receive official
communications.
*Clarifies that Official Messages may include new technology and
messaging opportunities. |
