Government Re-Opening – Guidance and Updates for Research Community

With the news that the Federal Government will re-open Thursday October 17, 2013, we expect to receive updates and guidance from all of our federal sponsors soon. As this is of utmost importance to the research community, we will promptly post all guidance received at this web address: http://blink.ucsd.edu/go/reopen

We expect that it will take at least a day or more for the federal agencies and their institutes to resume normal operational and administrative activities. We will keep this web site updated as more information is available, including updates about proposal submission deadlines, resumption of funding for pending awards and other essential information, so please refer to it as your first resource of information.

Until the budget resolution is fully implemented, the Office

of Research Affairs will seek to maximize continuity of support for faculty research activities.
