*******************************

Dear Colleagues,

I want to let you know we have been told that all UC employees may change their Health Care enrollment prior to March 31 should they find themselves enrolled in the wrong medical plan. There has been some confusion that this is only available to UCSB employees, but we have received information that is not the case and it applies to the entire UC System. An announcement has just been posted on the At Your Service web site at http://atyourservice.ucop.edu/news/general/1312-change-after-oe.html.

If you decide you want to make a change, you must contact your campus Health Care Facilitator or Benefits Office to obtain the appropriate forms, as this cannot be done online. Your ability to make a change will be limited by certain circumstances, such as whether you accessed medical services prior to requesting a change. We recommend coming forward as soon as you realize an error.

This option is available to everyone regardless of your choice made during open enrollment.

Sincerely,

Bill Jacob
Chair, Academic Senate
