Undergraduate Research Portal Open for Business

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Undergraduate Research Portal (http://urp.ucsd.edu). The Portal is intended to be a one-stop-shop for all things related to undergraduate research. Faculty and research staff offering research-oriented opportunities in the form of part-time jobs, internships, volunteer positions, or course credits (e.g., independent study) can post those opportunities directly on the Portal. You may also screen for student credentials, interests, and experience, view profiles of students who meet your requirements, and automatically connect with students whom you might want to interview. The Portal is integrated with Port Triton, the job board operated by the Career Services Center, and Single Sign-On.

The Portal was developed by the Office of Research Affairs in campus-wide collaboration with the Career Services Center, Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Student Affairs, Council of Provosts, and others. We are excited to provide this service as a way for students and our campus community to connect and benefit through research.
