Guidelines for Timely Grant Proposal Submission to OCGA for NIH Grants

The Office of Contract and Grant Administration is pleased to announce published guidelines for timely submission of proposals. These guidelines include an EASY REFERENCE CHART (http://blink.ucsd.edu/go/nihproposaltimeline) for determining dates that sponsored research proposals for NIH Grants are due to OCGA for review prior to formal submission. Here is a sampling of the information provided:

NIH R01 and U01 New (Renewal)
Proposal with draft of science to OCGA: January 30 - already past for this quarter (February 27)
Final proposal to OCGA: February 4 (March 4)
NIH Institute deadline: February 5 (March 5)

NIH R03
Proposal with draft of science to OCGA: February 12
Final proposal to OCGA: February 15
NIH Institute deadline: February 16

NIH K Series New/(Renewal)
Proposal with draft of science to OCGA: February 6 (March 6)
Final proposal to OCGA: February 11 (March 11)
NIH Institute deadline: February 12 (March 12)
