CONSTRUCTION ALERT – La Jolla Campus Utility Installation at Voigt Drive

Project Description/Location:

The La Jolla Campus Medical Center Switch Station project will continue construction on a utility trench on the south side of Voigt Drive starting on February 13, 2013. The trench will encroach into Voigt Drive across from the East Campus Switching Station access road. Traffic control measures will be in place during construction work hours and two narrowed lanes of traffic will remain available. Work hours will be from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and the trench will be plated during non-work hours.

Immediate Street Impacts:

Traffic lanes will be narrowed and flagmen will be used along Voigt Drive from February 13, 2013 through February 22, 2013. The sidewalk on the south side of Voigt Drive will be closed and pedestrians and bicyclists are requested to utilize the north side of Voigt Drive to pass through the area.
