Campus Utility Notifications, Status Updates & Electrical Switching Schedules

Campus staff are working diligently to improve the infrastructure and reliability of UC San Diego's electrical grid. This email notice invites those interested in receiving notices and communications regarding utility work to subscribe using the link below. We are in the process of improving our communication options so even if you already receive notices via the electricalstagealerts-l ListServ, it would be helpful to subscribe again using the link below in order to update the database.

Please note the dates below, including one tomorrow, which represent our latest schedule of switching operations to improve the campus grid.

During these ongoing repairs, Facilities Management will be conducting circuit switching operations from 7 a.m. to noon on the following dates:

Friday, February 8: Revelle, School of Medicine, SIO
Monday, February 11: Revelle, School of Medicine, SIO & East Campus
Friday, February 15: Revelle, School of Medicine, SIO & East Campus
Tuesday, February 19: East Campus
Friday, February 22: East Campus
Monday, February 25: East Campus
Tuesday, February 26: East Campus

While it is anticipated system repairs will be completed by Spring 2013, please be advised that power to the Revelle, School of Medicine and SIO areas continues to be at risk of interruptions at all times, not just during switching operations, until system repairs are completed.
