The Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (CSW) invites UC San Diego staff and faculty to attend the 5th Annual UC San Diego Women’s Conference entitled, “Redefining the UC San Diego Woman: We’ve Come a Long Way, but We’re Not There Yet,” and to discover the strategies that will take your career from successful to extraordinary. The Conference will be held in the Price Center West Ballroom on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, from 8:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year we are proud to have Ironman World Champions, Kathleen McCartney Hearst and Julie Moss, as our keynote speakers. Kathleen McCartney Hearst and Julie Moss put the sport of triathlon on the map with their historic 1982 Hawaiian Ironman race, and just returned to Kona last fall, in celebration of their 30th Anniversary, to race the 2012 Ironman World Championship. Their journey is a testament and inspiration that “Anything is Possible.”
