Dear Colleagues:
Our next meeting of the 2012-13 academic year is scheduled for Tuesday, March 12 at 3:30 p.m., in the Leichtag Building Conference Room. The Notice of Meeting (agenda) and all pertinent documents may be found on the Senate's Web page at: http://senate.ucsd.edu/assembly/agenda/current.htm
In addition to considering proposals to amend Divisional Bylaws and Regulations, we will hear an overview of the report of the recent Task Force on Faculty Rewards II by Professor Robert Bitmead, Chair of the Task Force. Documents summarizing the comments of the Senate Council and Senate committees on the Task Force's recommendations are included in the agenda material. The Task Force is to be commended for providing such a thorough review of the faculty rewards process - a subject dear to all our hearts!
