CONSTRUCTION ALERT UPDATE - Health Sciences BioMedical Research Facility II

Project Description/Location:
The Health Sciences BioMedical Research Facility II is currently under construction in the School of Medicine area of campus. The building consists of 5 stories of laboratory space, 7 stories of office space and a basement. In addition, the facility includes core facilities for laboratory research, laboratory support spaces, office support spaces and conference rooms. Major improvements to Osler Lane are an integral part of this construction project.

Immediate Developments:
Beginning June 17, 2013 and continuing through September 13, 2013, vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Osler Lane will be impacted to accommodate the improvements along Osler Lane. During this period, portions of Osler Lane will be CLOSED to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Both vehicles and pedestrians traffic will be detoured around the areas of construction as noted on the attached map. Flagmen will also be present to direct traffic when necessary. Pedestrian walkways adjacent to Osler Lane will be closed throughout the duration of the work. Updates will continue to be provided throughout the construction period.
