We are pleased to announce that subsequent to a successful five-year review, Peter Cowhey has been reappointed as Dean of the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies. Dean Cowhey has provided outstanding leadership to the school and the campus and has continued to lead IR/PS on an exciting upward trajectory over the past five years. He has made significant contributions to strengthening the quality and increasing the visibility of the school. Under Dean Cowhey’s leadership, admirable progress and innovation is apparent in areas as wide-ranging as expansion of the School's research mission, faculty diversity, staff morale and stability, increasing the endowment, curricular improvement, and international outreach. We are delighted that IR/PS and the campus will continue to benefit from Dean Cowhey’s outstanding leadership. We deeply appreciate the review committee’s thorough work, as well as its insightful suggestions as the school moves forward. Please join us in thanking Dean Cowhey for his many contributions to the campus, both past and future.
