ALL ACADEMICS AND STAFF AT UCSD (excluding UC San Diego Health System)
As part of our commitment to provide enhanced telephone services to UC San Diego, we have scheduled a major upgrade to the campus telephone system. Among other things, the new telephone system has a smaller hardware footprint and will lower energy consumption and maintenance costs. During the upgrade, campus telephone services will be unavailable from 10:00 PM on Friday, September 6th and will continue until 8:00 AM Saturday, September 7th. While all changes are compatible with existing telephone equipment, we anticipate that in some cases you may need to reset the following three phone features:
1. Accept 2nd Call The instructions for resetting these features can be found at: http://blink.ucsd.edu/go/deskphone With this upgrade, our goal is deliver the best service possible to campus.
