SUBJECT:   Construction Alert – Construction and Site Improvements for SIO Upper Mesa, Capricorn Way

Project Description/Location:

Beginning on or about February 12, 2014 and continuing through June 2014, construction of an access road and some median improvements from Expedition Way will occur. The SIO Upper Mesa Capricorn Way project will provide access and fire lane access to the recently completed J. Craig Venter Institute on Torrey Pines Road.

Immediate Street Impacts:

The main entry/exit for the construction and staging area will be off Expedition Way. Intermittent impact to vehicular traffic on Expedition Way should be anticipated. On these occasions traffic control or flagmen will be present. No impact to traffic on the main campus or North Torrey Pines Road is anticipated.
