Revised PPM 230-7 – Non-Senate Appointees/Layoff and Involuntary Reduction in Time, and Rescission of PPM Sections 230-9.2 – Termination of Appointment for the Adjunct Professor Series, and 230-9.3 – Termination of Appointment for the Clinical Professor Series.

I am pleased to announce the revision of Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM) section 230-7 – Non-Senate Appointees/Layoff and Involuntary Reduction in Time, which is effective retroactively to November 1, 2014.

Updates have been made to make PPM 230-7 more straightforward and to provide clearer guidelines for implementation. In addition, revisions have been made to bring the policy into conformance with APM 145. Existing PPM 230-7 has been merged with PPM 230-9.2 ­– Termination of Appointment for the Adjunct Professor Series, and PPM 230-9.3 – Termination of Appointment for the Clinical Professor Series; therefore, PPM 230-9.2 and PPM 230-9.3 have been rescinded, effective retroactively to November 1, 2014.
