SUBJECT:    Perishable and Priority Deliveries during the Campus Closure

During the campus closure spanning December 24 through January 2, 2015, most campus buildings are locked. However, UCSD Receiving/Distribution will be available December 24th, 29th, 30th and January 2nd to deliver your priority and perishable packages. FedEx and UPS joins the campus in a solution that we anticipate supports your research and/or critical activities during the closure.

If your package is addressed to be sent directly to an on-campus address be aware that both FedEx and UPS will be delivering only to those buildings that are open and accessible. Any package or flat that can't be delivered will be re-routed to UCSD Receiving/Distribution located at 7835 Trade Street Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92121.

* For all items that are labeled perishable or priority (express), two attempts will be made to deliver the item. This may necessitate that the package be re-iced if undeliverable.

* For item that are attempted twice and deemed undeliverable, those packages will be held at Receiving/Distribution until January 5th, 2015 when all services revert to normal delivery.
