UC San Diego's 8th Annual Asian and Pacific Islander American Celebration, May 2014

You are invited to join UC San Diego’s faculty, staff, and students as we celebrate Asian and Pacific-Islander culture, traditions and history. During the month of May, the campus will host numerous events including lectures, film screenings and workshops to commemorate Asian and Pacific-Islander American Heritage Celebration Month. In recognition of this annual event, two hours of administrative leave with pay have been approved so that employees may participate in a UC San Diego Asian and Pacific Islander American celebration activity. Supervisors are asked to allow employees to attend, as long as the absence does not infringe upon the performance of required job duties or patient care.
