The University invites comments on Proposed Revised University of California Policy on the Protection of Whistleblowers from Retaliation and Procedures for Reviewing Retaliation Complaints, Whistleblower Protection Policy (WPP), which is reprinted in the Academic Personnel Manual Section 190, (APM - 190), Appendix A-2, as described below: The proposal implements policy requirements mandated by an amendment to the California Whistleblower Protection Act that became effective January 1, 2011. The UC Whistleblower Protection Policy is a system-wide, Presidential Policy that applies to all University employees, which includes all faculty and other academic appointees, students, and staff. The proposed revisions are available on the following website: This is a formal review of the proposed revisions. If you have comments for submission in response to the policy review, please provide your written comments to Paula Johnson in Policy and Records Administration at pjjohnson@ucsd.edu no later than May 9, 2014.
