June 3, 2014 Representative Assembly Meeting

Dear Colleagues:

The June 2014 Representative Assembly meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3rd at 3:30 p.m., in the Leichtag Building Conference Room. The Notice of Meeting (agenda) and all pertinent documents may be found on the Senate’s Web page at:

Chancellor Khosla will address the Assembly, as will Assistant Vice Chancellor Lepe, who will provide a budget update. The agenda includes: Faculty Research Lecturer Awards; proposals for a specialization in Quantitative Biology in six graduate degree programs, a Master of Public Policy, and a Ph.D. in Education; and Senate bylaw and regulation proposals from the Educational Policy Committee, the Committee on Privilege and Tenure, and Sixth College.

All Senate members are welcome. If you are a Representative Assembly member and cannot attend the meeting, please be sure to notify your alternate to do so in your stead. Your participation matters. I look forward to seeing you on June 3rd.
