SUBJECT:    Review period extended: Proposed New Campus Policy - Implementing Rules for the Regents' Policy on Non-Affiliate Access to the University of California, San Diego Campus

To ensure maximum campus input to the process of this formal policy review we will extend the review period from June 30th to October 15, 2014. A reminder will be sent at the beginning of the Fall Quarter.

The University invites comments on proposed campus policy: Implementing Rules for the Regents' Policy on Non-Affiliate Access to the University of California, San Diego Campus.

The proposal implements policy requirements mandated by the Board of Regents adopted Regulations Governing Conduct of Non-Affiliates in the Buildings and on the Grounds of the University of California available at http://policy.ucop.edu/doc/3000127/NonAffiliateRegs

All non-affiliates who enter the buildings or grounds of any University of California campus are subject to the Regents' Policy.

Under the Regents' Policy, campuses were directed to issue implementing rules for certain policy requirements. This proposed policy constitutes the implementing rules for the San Diego campus and is available on the following website:

This is a formal review of the proposed Implementing Rules. If you have comments for submission in response to the policy review, please provide your written comments to Paula Johnson in Policy and Records Administration at pjjohnson@ucsd.edu no later than October 15, 2014.
