ALL STUDENTS AT UC SAN DIEGO

SUBJECT:    Triton U-Pass Distribution

Triton U-Pass is a new universal transit pass program that begins this fall at UC San Diego. The program offers unlimited ridership to students during fall, winter and spring quarters on all regional mass transit bus and trolley/light rail routes provided by the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) and the North County Transit District (NCTD). (This excludes the NCTD Coaster Train and MTS rural and premium express routes.)

Students who have paid the quarterly transportation fee are eligible to participate and can pick up a fall quarter U-Pass sticker at one of the three locations noted below. Student ID is required:

Between Gilman Parking Office and Pepper Canyon Hall

      Sep. 25-26:       8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
      Sep. 27-28:       11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
      Sep. 29-Oct. 3:       8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Outside the Bookstore at Library Walk

      Sep. 25-26:       8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
      Sep. 27-28:       11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
      Sep. 29-Oct. 3:       8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Gilman Parking Office

      Sep. 25-26:       7-8 a.m. and 4-5 p.m.
      Sep. 27-28:       10-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m.
      Sep. 29-Oct. 3:       7-8 a.m. and 6-7 p.m.

The fall sticker is valid through December 31, 2014 and must be placed on your student ID card. New stickers will be required for winter and spring quarters; winter quarter U-Pass stickers will become available in December 2014.
