UC San Diego is undertaking its first ever Historic Resources Survey to identify places of social, historical and architectural (buildings and landscapes) significance. If you have relevant information about the La Jolla campus’ development history and built environment that may not currently be publicly available, we want to hear from you. Examples of such information include old studies, reports, articles, plans and photos. The information will be used to help update the Long Range Development Plan, which guides the long-term physical development of the campus based on academic and student life goals. The process to begin updating the current plan is underway and will be ongoing through 2018. Once completed, the updated plan will guide development through approximately 2035. If you have any information or resources to share for the survey, or if you have any questions about the process, please contact Cathy Presmyk, Assistant Director, Environmental Planning, at cpresmyk@ucsd.edu or (858) 534-3860. The deadline to receive information is Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Thank you for your assistance.
