UC San Diego Staff Association's Annual Holiday Pancake Breakfast

You are invited to celebrate the holiday season with your colleagues and friends at the UC San Diego Staff Association’s 41st Annual Holiday Pancake Breakfast, which will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, in the Price Center West Ballrooms. There will be three seatings: 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m., 8:15 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., and 9:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.

This year’s breakfast is free and will be provided to the first 1,200 UC San Diego staff members (400 per seating) who order their ticket online through Eventbrite between Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. and Dec. 8 at 6 a.m. You may access Eventbrite and get additional information about the breakfast by visiting https://2015pancakes.eventbrite.com. In order to ensure that as many staff as possible may attend the breakfast, employees are limited to one ticket per person.

The annual arts and crafts fair, featuring homemade items crafted by our UC San Diego staff members, will again be held in conjunction with the breakfast. You also may bring an unwrapped toy for the annual holiday toy drive.

In recognition of this annual event, I am approving one hour of administrative leave with pay to enable employees to attend the breakfast. Therefore, supervisors may grant employees one hour of administrative leave as long as the absence does not infringe upon the performance of required job duties or patient care.
