Annual Collection of Campus Diversity Initiatives Information

UC San Diego has many resources that support the recruitment and retention of historically underserved populations, deepen understanding and challenge misconceptions surrounding diversity, and develop proactive leaders who advocate for inclusion. A current database of this information serves as a guide for planning future activities, collaboration across units, and as a resource to participate in the array of equity, diversity, inclusion activities that support the diversity goals of the Campus Strategic Plan.

Every fall the database is updated to ensure a comprehensive listing of our current diversity efforts. Please enter or update your unit’s diversity activities which can range from research to mentoring and from teaching to community outreach, both on and off campus. Providing this information helps our campus better understand our currently-deployed resources and also to identify areas where additional resources may be needed. Program and activity information already stored in the database may be retrieved and updated via Single Sign-On. New entries may be created by logging into the database via Single Sign-On.

Entries may be updated or created, and public information about campus activities may be viewed by accessing the database using this link: http://diversity.ucsd.edu/initiatives/
