UC San Diego Institute For Public Health - Public Health Research Day - Call For Abstracts

The UC San Diego Institute for Public Health will host the 2nd Annual Public Health Research Day Symposium and Poster Session to highlight research accomplishments and real world Public Health activities of the UC San Diego Public Health community.

Please save April 6, 2016, from 2-5 PM for this dynamic event.

This two part event will include a Symposium on a pressing public health issue along with a Poster Session highlighting the public health work being done by UC San Diego undergraduate students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, research staff, and faculty.

We are now calling for poster abstract submissions. There are two separate “call for abstracts”:
1. One for posters which feature relevant PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCH,
and
2. One for posters aimed at publicizing real world public health efforts that illustrate PUBLIC HEALTH IN ACTION at UC San Diego and in the community.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 16, 2016.

The “Public Health Research” posters should highlight recently completed research or preliminary findings of ongoing work, while the “Public Health in Action” posters should describe student internship experiences or community Public Health work. Faculty will review abstracts, and make selections for presentation. Authors will be notified by March 2, 2016.
