UC Retirement Plan Contributions

I am pleased to announce that the University of California (UC) leadership has advised that the UC Retirement Plan (UCRP) contributions will not increase in July 2015, as they have in previous years.

UC, as the employer, currently contributes 14 percent of pay, and faculty and staff contribute seven to nine percent, depending on their pension tier and/or collective bargaining agreement.
