Outstanding Senior and Graduate Student Awards

As part of the All Campus Graduation Celebration, Student Affairs will recognize two remarkable students who have earned recognition in the UC San Diego community for their outstanding academic and leadership performance, and for enhancing the student experience at UC San Diego. One award will be given to an outstanding graduating undergraduate student and one to an outstanding graduating graduate or professional student.

High academic performance and participation in student organizations are important; however, the primary purpose of the awards is to honor two students who have earned the admiration of the UC San Diego community for exceptional contributions to university life and who have generously served the university.

The award recipients will each receive $1,000, a special gift from UCSD Alumni, and public recognition at the All Campus Graduation Celebration on Friday, June 12, 2015.

This tradition at UC San Diego honors the most outstanding graduating students who are committed to the student experience, are academically accomplished, and are leaders of the present on becoming alumni leaders of the future.

We encourage you to nominate an outstanding senior or graduate student who you feel is deserving of this award. Nominations may come from UCSD faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Applications can be downloaded from http://vcsa.ucsd.edu/news-events/index.html. The deadline for submission is Friday, May 1, 2015.
