CONSTRUCTION ALERT - East Campus Office Building Parking Lot P759 Partial Closure

Project Description/Location:

As part of the Jacobs Medical Center (JMC) project, parking lot improvements will be made to the East Campus Office Building (ECOB) Parking Lot P759 beginning May 18, 2015 through the end of September 2015.

During construction, the northern portion of the ECOB parking lot P759 will be temporarily closed. Vehicular access to the ECOB should continue from Medical Center Drive (south). Pedestrian access between ECOB and Thornton Hospital will be available along Medical Center Drive (north). Alternative parking will be available in the East Campus Parking Structure and other surface parking lots.

Immediate Street Traffic, Bicycle Lane and Pedestrian Impacts:

East Campus Office Building: Patients, staff and visitors needing vehicle access to the ECOB facility and lot P759 should utilize Medical Center Drive (south) as shown on the area map link below.

Bicyclists: Bicycle traffic should also utilize Medical Center Drive (south) for all services west of Thornton Hospital.

Pedestrian pathways will be maintained along Medical Center Drive (north) at all times.
