EDI Award for the Fall 2015 Faculty Success Program

The Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the fall 2015 Faculty Success Program, running August 23 to December 5, 2015. This highly acclaimed program offered by the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD) combines empirically tested methods, coaching, peer discussions, and accountability tools to help academics thrive in their careers and achieve a work-life balance.

Here is what UC San Diego faculty have said about the program:

"I now have a daily writing habit... I take the time to clarify my goals and commitments at the start of each quarter and have improved my ability to keep to the plan by incorporating the weekly planning and daily goal setting."

"I continue to meet with my small group every week. The relationships formed in NCFDD I believe will stay with me for a very long time, and have proven invaluable."

"It was so worth the time it took to participate in the program... I already say no more, prioritize my research better, [and] make weekly plans."
