Freshman Seminar Program and Senior Seminar Program - Early Call for Winter Quarter 2016 Proposals

I am writing to announce an early call for Freshman and Senior Seminars for Winter Quarter 2016. Although proposals are not due until 9/25/15, we encourage you to submit a proposal before you get otherwise occupied in the summer.

Eligible faculty will receive a $1,000 research payment (not as salary, but as funding available to support various academic expenses including research, travel, and supplies) for teaching either a one-unit Freshman Seminar or a one-unit Senior Seminar. A department may only offer Senior Seminars if it also offers at least two Freshman Seminars in the same quarter.
