Appointment of Jeff W. Graham as Executive Director- Real Estate

Following a comprehensive nationwide search, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Jeff W. Graham as the Executive Director- Real Estate effective August 17, 2015. Mr. Graham will be a member of the Vice Chancellor & Chief Financial Officer's senior management team.

Mr. Graham is an accomplished real estate and public policy professional with over twenty-five years of progressive leadership and management experience. He has an extensive and successful track record in real estate negotiations and transaction structuring, organizational leadership, urban redevelopment and property acquisitions. For the past year he has served as the Senior Vice President for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), a global strategic real estate consulting firm. In this role he co-lead the United States western division consulting practice group in advising states, municipalities, counties, universities, housing authorities, ports, and transportation agencies on matters related to a variety of complex real estate and economic development assignments.

Prior to his tenure at JLL, Mr. Graham worked for nearly seven years at Civic San Diego, formerly named Centre City Development Corporation, a community redevelopment, economic development, and planning agency. There he held the position of Vice President, Redevelopment and later held the position of President.

Mr. Graham was also a Real Estate consultant with Gafcon, Inc., The Guidant Group, and Pacwest Group. In each of these roles he provided economic, fiscal and strategic guidance to public and private sector clients investing in or developing urban real estate and infrastructure.

Mr. Graham received his Master's in Business Administration, International Business from San Diego State University. He is also a member of several professional organizations including Chair of the Urban Land Institute Advisory Board, Partners for Livable Communities, California Association for Local Economic Development, and the Revenue Committee of the Downtown San Diego Partnership to name a few.
