REMINDER OF DEADLINE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 - Call for Applications: primeUC Funding Option for UC SAN DIEGO Researchers

Dear UC San Diego Researchers,

As part of UC President Janet Napolitano's Initiative on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Office of Research Affairs is delighted to announce primeUC, an event to acknowledge and reward the most promising UC startup companies seeking early stage funding.

Applications from entrepreneurs with a startup in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer health sectors looking for seed financing, and who meet eligibility criteria, are being accepted until September 25th, 2015. Selected applicants will be invited to participate in a semi-final event at UCLA on October 21 and 22, 2015. If successful, these applicants will go forward to a finalist event at UCSF on December 2, 2015. This event will cumulate in announcement of the winners of a $150K grand prize as well as three $50K runner-up prizes.
