| SUBJECT: | Triton Day and Transfer Triton Day 2016 – Registration Now Open – All Campus Community |
Triton Day will be held on Saturday, April 9, and Transfer Triton Day will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016.
Triton Days bring the campus community together to showcase UC San Diego to newly admitted students and their families as a student-centered, research-focused, service-oriented public university. The day-long events provide our admitted students the chance to explore the full range of opportunities available at UC San Diego. Representatives from the undergraduate colleges, academic departments and programs, student support services, student organizations and extracurricular/enrichment programs will offer prospective students a glimpse into their future as members of the Triton family.
Faculty can get involved in the day by participating in an academic information session, talking with prospective students and their families at a departmental/program information fair booth, or by offering lab tours or open houses. Between the two days, an estimated 25,000 people will visit the campus. Additional information may be found at Tritondays.ucsd.edu.
How to register: If you were a 2015 Triton Days registrant: An email invitation from the 2016 Triton Days Steering Committee will be sent to the address used to register in 2015.
Registered Student Organizations and Recreation Sports Clubs: One of the principal members for each 2015-16 registered student organizations and sports clubs will receive an email invite from the 2016 Triton Days Steering Committee. If you are a member of a student org or sports club interested in registering, please consult with your organization’s principal members.
NEW to Triton Days: If you did not register last year or you are a new contact for your area, please sign up for the 2016 Triton Days Interest List: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2016TritonDays
This link will be active until January 31. Once the form is completed, an email invitation will be sent you from the 2016 Triton Days Steering Committee within two business days.
Please note: Registration closes on Wednesday, February 17 at 11:59pm for Academic and Student Support Services Sessions, Tours, and Open Houses. All Information Booths and Student Performances registration closes on Tuesday, March 1 at 11:59pm.
Additionally, many volunteers will be needed to make both days a great success. To sign up as a Triton Days volunteer go to the Volunteer 50 website and look under Signature Events. We look forward to your participation in Triton Days 2016.
