Research Vessel Sally Ride Tours for the UC San Diego Community

We invite the UC San Diego community to join us for free tours of R/V Sally Ride, America’s newest research vessel, operated by Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego. Please join us between noon and 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at Downtown San Diego’s Broadway Pier, 1000 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.

Everyone is welcome to come aboard for a first-hand look at the state-of-the-art ship before it commences scientific operations in November.

Please note: UC San Diego identification is required. To tour the vessel, closed-toe, closed-heel shoes are required. Boarding the ship requires the use of stairs. Additional details are available here:
