Join Us for the Postdoc Research Symposium on Nov. 1

As the new Faculty Director for Postdoctoral Scholar Training and Education, I invite you attend the Fourth Annual Postdoc Research Symposium on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Price Center Ballrooms A & B. The Research Symposium is organized by the Postdoctoral Association and designed to bring together postdoctoral scholars across disciplines to discuss their research to a general audience. Faculty, graduate students, undergraduates, and staff are encouraged to attend.

The Symposium will include oral presentations, a poster slam competition, and a poster session (please see schedule below). Judges for the oral and poster competitions are still needed! As this is an interdisciplinary symposium, judges from a broad representation of disciplines will contribute to a successful event. If you are interested in judging, please email Laura-Isobel McCall at pdareasearch@ucsd.edu by Friday, Oct. 28.

Postdocs that best present their research to a broad audience of peers, industry professionals and faculty are eligible to win cash prizes. As a faculty member, you are also eligible to win $200 towards a celebratory lunch for your research group if you attend the symposium. Please check in at the registration table at the symposium to enter your name and contact information. If your name is selected, you will be contacted.
