| SUBJECT: | Free Flu Shots for Employees Now Available on Campus and at UC San Diego Health’s Urgent Care |
In an effort to protect the health of UC San Diego faculty and staff, the Chancellor’s Office is partnering with UC San Diego Health to offer flu vaccines at no cost to employees. Annual flu vaccinations represent an important measure in preventing flu infection and will be offered on campus through two flu vaccine clinics and at UC San Diego Health’s Urgent Care.
The two flu vaccine clinics will take place at the Price Center on the following dates and in the following locations:
· Monday, November 14, 2016 in the East Ballroom from 7 a.m. to 1
p.m.
· Monday, November 21, 2016 in the West Ballroom A from 11 a.m. to
6 p.m.
UC San Diego employees can also receive the flu vaccine through the month of November at UC San Diego Health’s Urgent Care located at 8910 Villa La Jolla Drive. Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In order to receive the free vaccine, all employees must bring their UC San Diego identification cards.
