Excellence in Stewardship Award Call for Nominations

The UC San Diego Foundation's Stewardship Committee will present the 5th Annual Excellence in Stewardship Awards in June 2017. I invite and highly encourage you to identify individuals among your co-workers who exemplify excellence in building and sustaining relationships with UC San Diego’s supporters, volunteers and external community members.

Friends of UC San Diego consistently remind us that relationships between our university and the community are built and sustained by individuals – our staff and faculty who respect and care about our supporters and understand the importance of helping them realize their vision for philanthropic impact.

In the months and years to come, exceptional stewardship of our community supporters will be critical to the success of the most ambitious fundraising campaign in our university’s history. It is imperative that we keep our friends engaged and emphasize our appreciation for the critical role they play in UC San Diego’s success.

Any UC San Diego employee, UC San Diego Foundation Board Trustee, or campus volunteer may nominate individuals with whom they are familiar for the staff or faculty / campus leadership categories.

Awardees selected by the UC San Diego Foundation's Stewardship Committee will be notified in February. Awards will be presented at the UC San Diego Foundation's annual dinner in June.
