UC San Diego – Kyoto University Joint Symposium “Regenerative Medicine & Biology, Cancer & Drug Development, and Advanced Energy Research”

Please join the Office of Research Affairs as we host the second UC San Diego – Kyoto University Joint Symposium in La Jolla, California on March 14-15, 2016. Symposium Website: http://ucsd-ku.org

The Program will consist of a Plenary Session during the first day followed, on the second day, by three breakout sessions. These breakout sessions will focus on Regenerative Medicine & Biology; Cancer & Drug Development; and Advanced Energy Research.

The highlight of the meeting will be keynote presentations by Professor Shinya Yamanaka, the 2012 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine, and Professor Roger Y. Tsien, the 2008 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge research and translational endeavors at the two prominent universities and network with eminent investigators in the fields of regenerative medicine and biology, cancer, drug development, biomedical research, and advanced energy research.
