CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Tioga Hall Scholars Drive South between Parking Lot P203 and Scholars Lane

Project Description/Location:

Beginning March 21, 2016 and continuing through March 25, 2016, AT&T’s contractor will be painting the antenna screens at the top of Tioga Hall.

Immediate Street Traffic, Bicycle Lane and Pedestrian Impacts:

Pedestrian walkways and building entrances around the perimeter of Tioga Hall will be impacted in stages throughout the construction duration. Pedestrians and cyclists should watch for flag persons and signage pointing to alternative pathways around the project site.

Temporary closure of Scholars Drive South between Parking Lot P203 and Scholars Lane is required to accommodate the contractor's lift. The closure is tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2016. On this date, vehicular traffic may be impacted on Scholars Drive South, on Muir Lane between Muir College Drive and Scholars Drive South, and on Scholars Lane between Scholars Drive South and the intersection of North Torrey Pines Road and La Jolla Shores Drive. Flag persons and/or signs will be posted at Muir College Drive and the intersection of Scholars Lane and North Torrey Pines Road; however, minimal delays should be expected.
