UC San Diego Women's Conference - March 18, 2016

The Chancellor's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (CSW) invites UC San Diego staff, faculty, and students to attend the 8th Annual UC San Diego Women's Conference: Empowering Women, Empowering UC San Diego: Picture It!

The UC San Diego Women's Conference will take place on Friday, March 18, 2016, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in and around Price Center East. In addition to numerous distinguished faculty and staff leading breakout sessions throughout the day, we are pleased to announce Assembly Speaker Toni G. Atkins will be delivering the keynote. The tracks for the breakout sessions are Wellness, Activism, and Career Development. A vendor fair will be open 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will include campus resources, local retailers, and handmade crafts. Network with colleagues, attend informative workshops, and listen to guest speakers present on topics that are important to our campus community.

This event is free and open to all staff, faculty, and students, but space is limited. Register using the password "ucsd16" at http://ucsdwomen2016.eventbrite.com. Supervisors are asked to allow for their staff members to attend this event, as long as the absence does not infringe upon the performance of required job duties and patient care.
